The team brings years of experience in the digital space, that’s who we are and that’s what we do. There’s no hierarchy here, we’re all ready to dive in and do the work. We’re strategic, but practical.
Iris has been with MDM since 2009 as our Account Manager and Principal, running the show behind the scenes and being a liaison between client needs and ensuring the best resource is at the table for the job at hand.
As an Account Manager her key role is to ensure that clients are satisfied with every aspect of the project delivery, including any follow up tasks post launch or completion.
She brings experience from multiple industries, including hospitality, travel, insurance, consumer services and online dating.
In her spare time Iris has a passion for real estate and design, while always finding time to test new recipes in the kitchen and fitting in driving duties for her 3 kids.
Perter is a professional Marketer with 20 years of international experience, including 16 years spent working in the Tourism Marketing field in Canada, Ecuador and other LATAM countries. During this time Peter had the opportunity of working with the Public Sector including the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador, various Municipalities, Provincial Governments and Tourism Promotional offices, including the Organization of American States (OAS) on a regional tourism project that involved five Latin-American countries and more than 200 tourism businesses.
For 10 years Peter also taught Tourism Marketing at various universities in Ecuador. He actively participates in diverse professional and educational tourism events like conferences, seminars and trade workshops.
Peter loves to spend time on the beach – any beach - ride his bike in the city and travel to explore new destinations. He is particularly interested in discovering cities as cultural and adventure destinations.
Ian has been doing SEO since 1998, and Paid Search since 2004 and has worked in the travel and tourism sector since 2006. His specialty is international and tourism search marketing. He is both an AdWords and (Bing) Advertising Qualified Professional.
He has extensive experience with Google Analytics, Yahoo! Japan, Baidu, Naver, and Yandex, as well as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter campaigns.
He speaks frequently at travel industry related conferences, and is currently the the Education Chair for the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) and past president of the Search Marketing Association of North America.
His key travel related work includes: Canadian Tourism Commission (Destination Canada) Tishman Hotels (Chicago Sheraton, Westin New York, and Disney Swan Dolphin), China National Tourism Office, and Destination BC.
Wilson brings over 15 years of web development experience in client-server applications, database implementation, web layout and graphic designs, E-Commerce, Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Salesforce Sales Cloud integrations, multimedia and UX design. He truly is a technical whiz!
He specializes in PHP, HTML 5, JQuery, CSS, XML, AJAX, HTML and MySQL. Including focusing on WordPress and Drupal for the various websites being developed and built for our clients.
He also has over 11-years of travel and tourism experience, having worked with Destination Canada, but most recently working with multiple hotel brands ranging from Hilton, Best Western, Quality Choice Hotels and many other brands.
Wilson has a special skill of being able to translate technical requirements into business goals and objectives. He understands the business and marketing side, which adds great value to all of our projects.
In his spare time, he has a passion for photography with over twenty years of professional photography experience. He is the in-house foodie, and also enjoys going for walks with his wife and Mr. Kong (his dog).
Ida has 9 years of Paid Search Account management experience, and is a certified Google AdWords Professional with the highest score ever achieved within the company.
She brings extensive expertise in multinational and multilingual campaign optimization, Paid Search analytics and reporting. Her specialty is cross-cultural digital marketing, with a focus on paid media.
She has successfully implemented and managed campaigns in Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, France, UK, Australia, German, Japan, Korea, India, and China. She has managed campaigns on multiple platforms, including AdWords, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, Naver, and Baidu.
In the travel industry, she has worked for the Canadian Tourism Commission (Destination Canada), Destination BC, and Tishman Hotels (Chicago Sheraton, Westin New York, and Disney Swan Dolphin).
Rebecca is a social media addict! She lives in this world and is our social media community expert. Besides creating a branded voice and personality for clients on social, she is also great at creating content that is on brand and engaging. One of her most recent achievements is helping a destination marketing organization (DMO) launch their new campaign in the US market, surpassing engagement targets by 200%.
She also oves leading client meetings and engaging in order to fully be immersed in the brand.
Currently, she is working with destination and hospitality brands in Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras and in British Columbia, Canada. She leads the content planning, content development and publishing for these brands.
